Transcription and Translation Process:

  1. DNA strand is transcribed to mRNA
  2. The mRNA molecules carry the coded message through the process
  3. The tRNA molecules deliver the amino acid called for by each codon on the mRNA
  4. Amino acids are formed according to the mRNA codons
  5. mRNA travles throughout the cell

Analagy:

This process is like an assembly line.  There is a main thing that is the start of everything.  Then that gets copies and given to someone else.  That someone else then gives it to another person and they give it to the rest of the group.
